We all need a total disconnection, the kind in which you only enjoy the magic of walking and the sounds that nature gives you. And that is precisely what this reserve is, the true paradise with animals in their natural habitat, without cages and living with their own species. Today I will tell you some tips to go to this reserve for at least 3 days with less than 900 soles (a little expensive, but it's worth it, oh it includes plane tickets to Iquitos).
First let's find the plane tickets. Sky offers tickets at very good prices and if you plan ahead you will probably find them for less than 250 soles round trip (zero rate).
The second step is to be able to find a tour and to do this we recommend you go directly with Ruth (965 001 929), she is the most sought after and the one who can give you the best price, if you go in Mancha the better and if not there you will meet new friends. If you want to confirm before you go, call her, otherwise go directly to her location a few blocks from the Plaza de Armas (two to be exact), there is Ruth's Tours and Expedition, I recommend calling her so that they will receive you at the airport and thus begin the tour as soon as you arrive.
I should probably warn you that this tour is only for those who are willing to venture out on foot and immerse themselves in the jungle. The package includes meals, accommodation (simple but comfortable), transfers, income and guided tours. What you will love most will be swimming very close to the gray and pink dolphins, as well as the night tour looking for alligators and the famous jaguar.
It's worth every penny and after those three days you will return with full energy. That does warn you at home that you will be missing for those days or carry a Bitel cell phone, which is the only one with some signal in the Reserve.
